Good Luck Copper Teams!

Tournament Spots Available: 

If your team was unable to compete in one of your tournaments earlier this season, we do have some spaces available at the January 29 events. These are Turquoise (Valley Christian High School in Queen Creek) and Petrified Wood (Brophy High School in Phoenix). Please contact Patti for to get your team into an event.

Dean's List Deadline is THIS SATURDAY!

DEAN'S LIST DEADLINE IS SATURDAY!

The deadline to nominate your sophomore and junior students for the FIRST Dean's List is THIS Saturday, January 15 at 11:59 PM EST. 

The FIRST Dean's List honors student leaders on each team who exemplify the values of FIRST, have made a positive impact on their team and in the community, and show technical expertise. Each team many nominate up to two 10th or 11th grade students. Nominees become Dean's List Semifinalists. A panel of judges will interview each nominee and select our Finalists to be considered at World Championship. Even if your team doesn't qualify for the Arizona Championship, your Dean's List Nominees can still become finalists.

This year, all Dean's List interviews will take place remotely on February 1-3, 2022 in the afternoon/evening. Dean's List nominations are due by January 15, 2022 to be considered. Driver Hub Update
REV released a software update to the Driver Hub. OS 1.2 includes fixes for issues teams have reported and we recommend all teams update to the latest software. Teams can update through the REV Hardware Client or through the updater app located on the Driver Hub when it is connected to the internet.
If teams have Driver Hub issues before events, please read through the troubleshooting guide.

Dean's List Deadline is Saturday Jan 15!

Happy New Year Teams! Let's make 2022 the best year yet for Arizona FIRST Tech Challenge!

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Training
One of the pillars of the FIRST community is creating a welcoming environment for all via equity, diversity, and inclusion. FIRST has a number of excellent trainings for teams, coaches, and mentors on this topic. Please see the flyer for links to the trainings. We encourage all teams to participate!

Food Drive - Arizona FIRST Tech Challenge Championship
The CocoNuts are running a non-perishable food drive to benefit the Flagstaff Family Food Center. We will be collecting donations at the Arizona Championship in February. We encourage teams to begin collecting food items now in your schools and communities. Let's show the Flagstaff community how amazing our FTC Arizona community is!

Palo Verde Results

Congrats to all the teams that competed at the Saguaro Blossom Qualifier, and a special thank you to Team 11980 Team Viper for hosting! It was amazing to see the growth in the game play in just this first event. We can't wait to see how your teams and robots grow throughout the season. Congrats also to the teams that advanced to the Arizona Championship!
