Championship Volunteers Needed!
We still need judges for the AZ Championship! Judges will interview teams April 30 (evening) and May 1 (morning) with deliberations after. We're sending each judge a care package and a food credit with GrubHub! We ask that any volunteers not have an affiliation with any of the competing teams so that the panel can be unbiased. People that would make great judges include:
- Coaches and mentors of teams that are not competing
- FIRST alumni from teams that are not competing (must be at least 19)
- Engineers, educators, business owners, parents with no team affiliation
- Potential schools, sponsors or community members interested in learning more about FIRST.
- Remember, since Championship is remote, geography is no barrier!
- Please have any potential volunteers register at www.firstinspires.org or contact Susan Garduno for help signing up.
