Judging Pro Tip from FIRST
Teams are allowed and encouraged to read the FIRST® Tech Challenge Judge and Judge Advisor Manual to learn about the judging process and what judges are looking for from teams at events. We've also created an Award Definitions for Judging Document and a blog post to help teams with judging.

Driver Hub Resources from REV
As you are prototyping and testing your robot using the new REV Robotics Driver Hub, here are some general tips to help you get competition ready!
  • Getting Started: Follow along on the getting started page for step-by-step instructions on the initial set-up process.
  • Managing the Control System: When the Driver Hub software is updated with new features, the device can receive a "field upgrade," through a simple update with the REV Hardware Client.
  • Solving Common Issues: Many issues can be solved by systematic troubleshooting with the help of our technical resources. Check out our Driver Hub Troubleshooting guide and flowchart to help determine the cause of the issue you are seeing.

Arizona Dean's List - Less than a month left to nominate!

The FIRST Dean's List honors student leaders on each team who exemplify the values of FIRST, have made a positive impact on their team and in the community, and show technical expertise. Each team many nominate up to two 10th or 11th grade students. Nominees become Dean's List Semifinalists. A panel of judges will interview each nominee and select our Finalists to be considered at World Championship.

This year, all Dean's List interviews will take place remotely on February 1-3, 2022 in the afternoon/evening. Dean's List nominations are due by January 15, 2022 to be considered. No late nominations will be accepted.  For more information on the Dean's List criteria and how to nominate your sophomore and junior leaders for the FIRST Dean's List, click here.
